By accessing and using Specialized Dictionary ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.

2. Description of Service

The Service is a supplemental dictionary tool that provides AI-generated definitions, etymologies, and related information for words and phrases. The information is for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional, academic, or certified advice.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to conduct any activity that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent. You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Service or the servers and networks connected to it.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The definitions and images provided are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies or reflect biases from their training data. You agree to use the information at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information. Your search queries are sent to our backend and third-party AI providers to generate a response but are not stored in a way that is linked to you.

2. IP Address Logging for Rate Limiting

To prevent abuse and manage costs, we temporarily log IP addresses that request image generations. This log tracks the number of image requests from an IP address within a 24-hour period and is not used for any other purpose.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Google Tag Manager for basic analytics to understand website traffic and improve the service. This service may collect anonymous data as per Google's privacy policy. We do not share any data with other third parties.

1. Is this a real dictionary?

This is a supplemental tool, not a formal dictionary. It uses powerful AI models to generate definitions and insights on the fly. While it strives for accuracy by cross-referencing information, it should be used for educational and exploratory purposes. For academic or formal use, always consult an established dictionary like the Oxford English Dictionary.

2. Why are there sometimes inaccuracies?

The definitions are generated by an AI, which learns from vast amounts of text. Sometimes, it can misinterpret a word's context or generate plausible-sounding but incorrect information. We are continuously working to improve its accuracy.

3. Why is there a limit on image generations?

Generating AI images is computationally expensive and incurs real-world costs. The limit of 3 images per day per user helps keep this service free and available to everyone.
